5.99!
5.99!
That’s how much this wine cost!
It was very quaffable, great with pizza, and a very solid weekday wine. Highly recommended for when you’re broke or when people who don’t know much about wine are in town.

Damn, I dig this wine! Sweeter than one might expect, but there’s an underlying oakiness that keeps it from slipping into $4 hangover territory. Yummy! Australia: More than kangaroos and Midnight Oil, apparently.
Brady says, “I saw a lot of ugly prostitutes one time…”
Brandy also says, “A waterfall of flavor!”

Sauvignon Blancs are my absolute fave right now. This one is no exception. I love how forward the fruit is. Melon, grapefruit rinds, banana, and crisp (not too sweet). You have to be careful what you pair with it, cause it can be easily overpowered, but for a cool sip after work on a hot summer’s day, I’ll take this puppy over a Miller Lite anyday of the week and twice on Sundays!

Price: $12
This is one step up from the Founder’s Estate, which I love, labeled as a “honeyed” oak. Let’s give it a sip….
OOH! Its good. Fuller, more buttery flavor than the Estate. Lasts longer. Its good. I’ve forgotten how good wine lingers…
This is normally a $16 bottle, and the best deal around. Better finish than beginning. It doesn’t explode in the mouth, which is my only complaint. Brandy says, “I’m too tired to give a quote”, but when prodded, says, “Spicy flowers.”
