You know, I did enjoy this wine, but found is a little flimsier than some of the other wines I’ve had from the same region. Some neat rose petal elements, with some nice velvety tannins and herbaceous jam. Definitely a nice blend. Will likely do better with some serious decanting and another couple years in the bottle.

Now I know that I drink a lot of cabs, and maybe I’m getting a little sick of them, but that doesn’t mean I want a weak-ass cab! I found this cab to be acidic, pasty, and generally unappealing. While there was some decent berry and some nice green pepper, I’ve been used to getting much better quality for my $20 investment.
For the money, I recommend the Fitch Cabernet at Westwood Liquors in Westlake.
So there.

This is one step up from the Founder’s Estate, which I love, labeled as a “honeyed” oak. Let’s give it a sip….
OOH! Its good. Fuller, more buttery flavor than the Estate. Lasts longer. Its good. I’ve forgotten how good wine lingers…
This is normally a $16 bottle, and the best deal around. Better finish than beginning. It doesn’t explode in the mouth, which is my only complaint. Brandy says, “I’m too tired to give a quote”, but when prodded, says, “Spicy flowers.”

I love this wine. Full, buttery, oak taste. Brandy tastes pear. Good, solid wine. Only problem is its not quite as complex or long-lasting as $20 bottles.

What a nice, refreshing summer wine. My new woman Shanna likes ‘em sweet, but this one pulls it off without being syrupy or stupid. Like grape juice, and even mildly sparkly. Not complex, but who cares? If you’re outside in the summer, watching a sunset, listening to the Allman Brothers, and checkin’ out your girl in her new summer dress, this is as good as it has to be.

I had to downgrade a previous wine to which I had given a 92, because this one is better and 2 bucks cheapter! It’s fucking incredible! If this wine were an eighty-year-old man, with saggy, gray testicles changing in the YMCA locker room, I would kneel down and give this wine the blowjob of its life. That’s how good it is. Fuck!
p.s. Motherfucker!
